Qualibear provides qualitative research support in 3 stages* to current doctoral students and early career researchers.
Stage 1: Qualitative Study Timeline Development
Qualibear works 1:1 with researchers to understand their study timeline, using their IRB-approved messages to send to their participant lists.
Stage 2: Focus Group Communications, Scheduling and Execution Support
Qualibear handles the logistics of confirming, scheduling, and rescheduling participants into 1:1 meetings or focus groups, including the researcher in communications each step of the way. A Qualibear staff member also attends each virtual session with the researcher, assisting with technical execution and attendance taking. If someone is not present, Qualibear will alert the researcher, securing any possible additional dates/times for the missing participant.
Stage 3: Data Analysis Mentoring and Guidance
Qualibear works 1:1 with researchers to provide mentoring as they complete individual and cluster coding. The researcher must provide the transcript data files to Qualibear. We then organize the data into the coding template for the researcher. The package comes with a coding template, instructional video, up to three (3x) 60-minute virtual sessions to provide direct mentoring and guidance while the researcher completes individual coding and up to three (3x) 60-minute virtual sessions to provide direct mentoring and guidance while the researcher completes cluster coding, adding to a more efficient and timely arrival of relevant study themes.
